Haslemere - two storey extension

The client requested a family room where teenagers could invite friends. The design solution was an extension above the garage, attached to the house but providing a degree of independent access. The extension resulted in an enlarged garage and a new room taking advantage of the views of the south facing garden. The extending roof to the rear provides shading in summer and a covered / protected balcony extends its use during spring and autumn.

A feature of this scheme was the client's involvement as project manager during construction of the building envelope and subsequently completing the internal finishes. Back..
