The listed building was originally fitted out to a speculative office standard with open floor plan, lift and toilet facilities.
Our brief was to develop the interior to provide cellular offices and meeting rooms for use by The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons for their Headquarters incorporating a Council Chamber. The layout was arranged so that privacy could be maintained but the partitioning demountable to allow for future changes.
In the basement flood protection was necessary in order to protect historic veterinary books in their archives and library. In association with the Client the brief included the interior design and the selection of all fixtures and fittings.
